Abstract

구강건조증 환자의 미각기능과 치료에 따른 미각 기능의 변화를 알아보고자, 2006년 9월부터 2007년 7월까지 부산대학교병원 구강내과에 내원한 환자 중에 구강검사를 통하여 구강건조증으로 진단된 환자를 실험군으로 선택하고, 2007년 9월부터 12월까지 부산대학교 병원 구강내과에 내원한 환자중에 구강검사와 설문지를 사용하여, 미각에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 전신질환, 약물복용, 구강내 연조직 질환을 가지고 있지 않은 환자를 대조군으로 선택하여 전기미각역치를 측정한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.
1. 구강건조증 환자군과 대조군의 미각역치 비교에서 혀의 측면, 혀끝, 유곽유두에서 차이를 보였다.
2. 남성에서 구강건조증 환자군과 대조군의 미각역치 비교에서는 차이가 없었다.
3. 여성에서 구강건조증 환자군과 대조군의 미각역치 비교에서는 연구개를 제외한 모든 부위에서 환자군이 낮은 경향을 보였다.
4. 구강건조증 환자군의 치료에 따른 미각역치 비교에서는 초진 시와 1차 치료 후에서 차이를 보이지 않았으나 유곽유두에서는 차이를 보이는 경향이 있었다.

To investigate the change of taste sensitivity which follows after treatment for xerostomia, from September, 2006 to July, 2007, we categorized the patients, who were diagnosed as xerostomia in Oral Medicine, College of Dentistry, Busan National University, as subject group and from September, 2007 to December. The patients who were not diagnosed as systemic disease were categorized as control group.
The results were as follows ;
1. Taste threshold comparison showed the differences at tongue lateral, tongue tip, circumvallate papilla between subject and control.
2. Taste threshold comparison showed no difference in male between subject and control.
3. Taste threshold comparison showed decrease in whole tongue except soft palate in female.
4. Taste threshold comparison showed no difference between first and second visit, but there was a tendency to change in circumvallate papilla.
